Dear Consumer Products Representative,
I am writing to complain about one of your products. At Christmas time I got a long board, which you produce and sell. I was very excited about it. It had awesome colors and a great look. I waited and waited for a sunny day to go out and try it out. Finally, the day came. I jumped on my long board and coasted down the hill, I was so excited. Now for the complaint. As I started my second run down the smooth grade, the right front wheel started to wobble just a bit. I kept going. Then the left rear wheel felt a little sluggish. I stopped. I sat down and turned over my board to inspect the wheels and as I did so, a bunch of small ball bearings fell onto the ground. Now my front wheel would not turn at all and the rear wheel was just as bad. My parents took the long board back to where they bought it, but they would not take it back. All they said was "sorry, no warrantee on long boards".
This has been a very frustrating experience for me. I really like long boarding, but your product was a total failure. I expected the stores to honor your reputation and help us fix or replace the board. Since they will not, it is up to you. I would like a full refund of $125.00, so I can purchase another board. If you can't do this I will never buy another one of your products and I will tell all my friends the same thing.
Upset,
Shane Reber

Life stinks! It is very boring having to do all these assignments for school. To have all of my term projects at one time. That is not all of it, the thing that most annoys me is that my life stinks not having my dad here all the time because he is in Nevada working. It is hard to get hold of him during the daytime or the time I have after school to study. He is a busy man and that is frustrating to me. I know it is good that he is busy working, I just wished it was work here in Utah. He is trying to find a job here, but so far no luck.
If you have ever lived without your parents it is hard on you. I have to live without my dad until he can make it out to Utah. He tries to make it out every weekend, but sometimes he just can’t. This is a lot of money when you have to pay for it yourself. By you, I meant your family has to pay for it. My dad loves being here, but it is hard to be here, because we live at our grandma’s house. We live with grandma because my dad doesn’t have a job out in Utah, so we don’t know where to buy a house, so that has left us “in the air”, not knowing what to do. So that is what stinks in my life, as of right now.
If I could be doing anything right now; I would be traveling the world in a hippie van dressed like a hippie and trying to see anything I can with that hippie van. I would also make a band during that trip. I would be the drummer or maybe the lead singer. I would have my friends in the band and take them with me and we would call ourselves “The Hippie’s”and that would be how we pay for our trip.
During the trip and during one of our awesome concerts, I would jump into the crowd, from the stage. This is what you call crowd surfing. The keep you up in the air and move you around to different parts of the audience. Then they put you back up on the stage. You never touch the floor. I would be the one from the band crowd surfing because this is one of my biggest dreams. With this dream, there is also my nightmare. My fear of crowd surfing is that I would look really dumb and fall right on my face when everyone backed up because they didn’t want to catch me. But if they dropped me, I would just get up and say I am okay.
When our band played, there would be a lot of base amps because when I play some nice base beats I will blow their hats off, from all the vibration it will give. The crowd will be going out of there wowed. Their voices would be hoarse from all the screaming they had just done. The audience will want to stay there forever, from how good we did. Our band will be so good we could ask for a million dollars just to play an encore.

DISCRIBE GOOD THINGS ABOUT YOUR MOTHER?

- Asking their opinion whenever it's possible or appropriate
- Patience and then more patience on top of that
- Sets boundaries to guide you
- Gives unconditional love
- Having one on one time with each kid
- Uses gentle non-violent discipline
- Even though she is my friend, I know that she is the Parent
- Willing to get peed, pooped, and vomited upon.
- Has a sense of humor.
- She creates balance in our lives
- She makes sure you always do the best you can, admit when you're not, learn to do better, and follow through.
- Helps me with my homework
- Cooks great food
- Teaches me to cook
- She listens to me
- Likes to take us on adventures and vacations
- Protects me by telling me NO
- Praises me and lets me know when I do a good job
My mother is an amazing woman. She has to be, to put up with me. She has a way of understanding things when nobody else will. I love my mom, and I am closer to her than I am to even my best friend. She probably knows things about me that a mother shouldn't but, that's okay. When I become a father, I hope I can carry her understanding with me. I don’t know what she did when she raised us because she let us be us, but she instilled values in us in ways that we didn’t even know they were being taught. Not once did my mother have to raise her voice with us and we were never scolded for voicing our opinions. I love that about her. I hope that I can be that understanding and accepting when I become a Father.

7. I would make me be all the director so the movie go’s the way I want
8. I would be able to film anywhere
9. I would I would make it inspirational to the audience
10. I would involve the audience by asking them questions threw the movie
11. I would make it long enough to cover all the information but not too long to make it boring

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TEEN SUICIDE?
We all know that suicide is a person’s choice, but that does not mean we should leave this issue alone. Teen suicide is a growing worry in this world because it is easily becoming a major threat in every teenager’s life. Suicide is a complicated issue to prevent because it deals with a person’s feelings and emotions. These things cannot just be erased or shut off. Teen suicide may be a tough problem to fix however, it is not impossible. We all know about the “talk” that parents throw at their children unwillingly. We have either been through this uncomfortable moment ourselves or maybe heard it from a friend that swears he/she barely survived it. Perhaps you were one of the lucky ones, like me, that did not have to sit through your parent’s grueling stare down. The “talk” is a touchy subject that most parents do not look forward to. However, those brave parents that choose to go through with “the talk” feel that it will help their children in the long run.
Suicide is an extremely delicate subject in every household in the United States and maybe even worldwide. Parents tend to think that their kids will never be in a suicidal situation. They choose to believe that suicide just does not exist where they live. This is why so many depressed teenagers go unnoticed and therefore never receive the treatment they desperately need. Every person who commits suicide battles depression. However, depression is usually hard to spot in a teenager’s many emotions. Parents cannot tell the difference between depression and the regular emotions such as sadness and anger. It is normal for a teenager to be angry and sad (at times); but when these become the only emotions it should become a concern. This is why parents need to become more informed of teen suicide so they can be able to detect warning signs in their children. With the number of teen suicides rising every day, parents shouldn’t continue to ignore it. Every parent should know at least a modest amount of knowledge on teen suicide. Parents should know what is going on in their child’s life and be aware of their child’s changing attitudes and emotions. More importantly, they should let their children know that they always have someone to talk to if they have any kind of problem.
We all know by now that bullying and cyber bullying are huge risk factors in teen suicide. Bullying has become a major problem and needs to be taken more seriously by school boards. Parents should not have to worry about whether or not their children are safe at school. Schools are meant to be a comfortable learning environment for every child, but unfortunately this is not the case anymore. Punishment needs to be in order in these situations because bullying has led to thousands of deaths. That there should be more teachers out on duties watching bulling and that it cause’s a lot of kids to commit suicide. And that is my thoughts on suicide.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT CURFEWS?
Greater Safety
Although teens often fight against the perceived unfairness and randomness of curfews, curfews can help keep teenagers safer. Risks can become greater as the hour gets later, with more people who are out being fatigued or under the influence of drugs or alcohol. In addition, later hours may present more challenges to a teenager, as they may face exposure to more decisions about conduct.
Teen Sleep
A curfew can be an effective way to ensure that your teenager gets enough sleep, advises the Aspen Education Group. Teenagers need up to 8 hours of sleep each night. Parents might set a school-night curfew at a time that enables the teenager to get the required number of hours of sleep to get up for school the next morning.
Authoritarian Curfew
Some parents give out curfew times to teenagers without taking into consideration the opinion or thoughts of a teen. This style of parenting can feel unfair and inflexible to teenagers. In fact, teens often fight at the prospect of unfairness.
Curfew Compromises
A balanced approach in which parents and teenagers compromise and institute the curfew together can result in a more successful rule. By having a conversation with your teen about curfews and finding out his thoughts, you open the door to greater cooperation and more willingness to abide by the curfew. It’s also reasonable to build some flexibility into curfews so they match whatever your teen’s activity might be. This helps your teen learn negotiation.
